Many of our customers use China for one part of their supply chain or another, whether that means importing products for Chinese consumers or exporting finished goods that were assembled in Chinese factories. LILLY is known for its international presence, and this includes our wholly owned offices we operate around the world – and yep, we have some in China. One of the many benefits of this international system is that you will always have someone to talk to, 24/7, thanks to our global presence.

When handling your imports, we’re experts in utilizing blind bill of ladings to protect your supply chain if you need to, and we employ customs agents at the ports to handle all necessary processes. Trucking is a vital part of the import business into China, whether shipments are going to a warehouse or an end user, and either way – we’ve got you covered.

We are no less prepared when it comes to exporting goods from China. We can have someone inspect the factories where your merchandise is being manufactured if you are unable to do it yourself. We take care of quality control, we run warehousing and consolidations, and we always put in place a blind bill of lading when the discretion of your supply chain is a must.

Although you might not have guessed it, as of 2014, Singapore is the 14th largest exporter and 15th largest importer in the world. This is partially due to its strategically beneficial geographic location and its well-developed port facilities – both of which makes LILLY’s shipping job much easier! The country has relatively few trade barriers, which makes the nation a popular shipping location worldwide. That being said, there are some import restrictions, mainly due to environmental, health, and public safety concerns. For example, importers must have a license to ship rice into the country to ensure both food security and price stability.

There are only two ports in Singapore for all its business:

  • Jurong Port
  • Port of Singapore

Trade between this archipelago and other nations is greatly facilitated by its strategic location off a sea lane. • Port of Teluk Bayur
